Audience reaction

“I feel I have to write and ask you to thank your friends for giving us such a wonderful evening. Pat and Dave are so talented. The songs were so perfectly chosen. I was entranced from start to finish with their lovely singing and Dave’s fabulous playing and was in tears at the song Pat wrote about his dad. Every song had such meaning, whether a song about lost love, homecoming, a donkey race or grief, amongst every other emotion I felt. Their story telling skills are of course equally marvellous and we were all hanging on every word. We are so lucky to have experienced such a joyful evening, I absolutely loved it.”

“Thank you so much for a charming, delightful evening. Such talent and hard work and superb piano playing.”

“There are well known songs in this show but also some lovely surprises. There is a great range of songs from all eras, all delivered in a most entertaining manner.”

“I was moved to tears and laughter in equal measure by these two excellent performers.”

“This was such an original show with so many beautiful songs. Pat and Dave also told us some wonderful stories about their years in Ireland.”

“Such a magical evening – two performers at the top of their game. It felt like we were in the front room, not a theatre.”

“Gosh, these guys really can sing and play. If you get the chance, make sure you see this show.”

"Super night last friday - particularly illuminating were the tales from your old days in Ireland - more stories please. Dave is one heck of a pianist and you could both charm the birds from the trees."
